Columbus State University’s Student Nurses' Association
(SNA) is an organization of students in the field of nursing. This
association offers a number of exciting opportunities to develop leadership
skills and networking skills while gaining confidence that will ensure a
continued success as a nurse.
SNA is extremely involved in the local community through volunteering. As a member you are also given the opportunity to be involved with Georgia Association of Nursing Students (GANS) and National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA). This allows networking with many other organizations, such as: The American Red Cross, West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition, The Alzheimer's Association, and the American Heart Association as well as many others; members from other states and hospitals for future jobs as an RN.
Improvement of continuing education, leadership skills, community involvement and networking are a few of the goals of SNA.
